Ekwato was created by Vincent Pelé, an expert in the service of wood industry to efficiently respond to current issues related to forests preservation and rigorous respect of the reasoned supply chain of wood products.

Nicolas brings his experience with timber and timber products supply chains during his previous professional experiences: the British administration during the implementation of the regulation and the first series of investigations; the NGO sector where he participated in the deployment of a legality system within a certification body ; more recently with the private sector within a french association of timber products importers where he was in charge of the management of the Monitoring Organization activity (for EUTR) and more particularly supporting companies in the implementation of a DDS (Due Diligence System).
